Steven Layne, Ed.D
Dr. Steven L. Layne teaches collegiate courses in children’s and adolescent literature and serves as a national literacy consultant. His work has been recognized by USA Today, the National Council of Teachers of English, and the Milken Family Foundation. Currently, Dr. Layne serves as a full-time faculty member at Judson College in Illinois. He is also the author of several award-winning books, including The Teachers’ Night Before Christmas, Life’s Literacy Lessons: Poems for Teachers, and This Side of Paradise.
