Mary is an energetic teacher and motivational trainer. During her 24 years as an elementary special education teacher, she created reading and writing materials uniquely tailored to the needs of her learning disabled students. Mary continues to develop materials and training that help teachers embrace the challenges of writing instruction. And, she is the co-author of Writing Workouts that Work and Creating & Managing a Writing Workshop.
