Role of Technology
in Education
 Technology is changing our lives every day. And while we, as adults, may be impressed by it, our students take it for granted. It’s how they communicate; it’s how they learn. To meet our students in their digital world, we have to learn how to teach in that world.
That’s why technology integration is more about the teaching than the tools. It’s about understanding how our students learn today, and how we can use technology to capture their attention, teach with relevance, and keep them motivated about learning.

Technology integration is not a luxury item or “one more thing to do.” It is essential to learning goals—and it is fast becoming the very way we get things accomplished in the classroom.
Technology is no longer a 'nice-to-have' or an enhancement to traditional curriculum. It is an integral part of how we all communicate, create, and learn.
